One of our favorite tools developed by the Stakeholder Liaison office is a weekly message to highlight educational material that small business owners will find helpful. Find the status of your Form 1040X using the Where's My Amended Return? tool on IRS.gov. It's available in English and Spanish. Track the status of your amended return for the current year and up to three prior years.

Publication 509 Tax Calendars For Use in 2014. Tax calendars include dates for filing, paying taxes and other tax actions.

If you have to find tax-related answers, wouldn't you rather listen to someone than read a lot of text? Well, you're in luck! The IRS Video portal contains video and audio presentations on topics of interest to small businesses, individuals and tax professionals. You will find video clips of tax topics, and archived versions of live panel discussions and webinars.
 

 

The Get Transcript Online Service allows you to

  • View and print transcripts of your 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ tax returns including any attached forms or schedules.
  • Receive a record of account including any changes made after the return was filed.
  • Print copies of your reported wage, income, or mortgage records (W-2s, 1099s, or 1098 forms).
  • Receive verification proof from the IRS when no tax return was filed.
  • View and print transcripts online or receive the transcripts in the mail within 5 to 10 calendar days.
  • Transcripts by mail are available in Spanish.
