Texas State SBDC has four seasoned business advisors with experience in growth strategies, food manufacturing, exporting, construction and most importantly- successful financing.
 
Our partners at the Austin chapter of SCORE (one of the very best SCORE chapters in the country!) have 75+ mentors. A program called EGBI (Economic Growth Business Incubator) has 4 counselors to help underserved startups. BCL, PeopleFund and the City of Austin's Small Business Program also have counselors who can meet with business owners one-on-one. We all work together, in collaboration, to make sure you get the help you need.
 
For tech startups, there are dozens of incubators and accelerators  incubator and accelerator programs that provide mentoring. Each has a different structure and focus, some provide equity investments or cash prizes. Many offer "demo days" that are great opportunities for founders to showcase the development of a successful business model.
