The 2nd Annual "Legacy in the Making: Building the Lone Star State" Business Expo is coming soon! This event is a collaborative effort between Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) and Texas State University Small Business Development Center. This event is to ensure that all businesses are aware of the upcoming opportunities associated with the $1.1 billion that was appropriated to TFC in the 84th Legislative Session.

10:30 am-11:45 am Building Business Basics with Laura Cagle Hinojosa & Joe Harper (Public Session)
This training session is a collaborative effort between the Comptroller of Public Accounts, Statewide HUB Program, and Texas State University, Small Business Development Center to provide resource information to construction businesses that are interested in doing business with the State of Texas. Topics that will be covered are basic business practices and utilizing your HUB certification.
12:00 pm- 1:00 pm Lunch (on your own) Story of Texas Cafe located within museum. Hot food is served every day until 3 p.m., and grab-and-go items are available until the Cafe closes at 4 p.m.
1:00 pm- 3:00 pm Business EXPO (Austin Room, 3rd Floor- Light refreshments will be served)

All attendees will have the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders from government agencies, universities, architects, engineers, and general contractors.  Feel free to spend the entire day with us, or choose the session that best fits your needs.
